Dieting
I am sure every person in the world, or at least every female in the world, has said those hated words..."I'm on a diet". I hate diets! Of course that is why I am extremely overweight. Facts are facts, I LOVE food. I love starches, veggies, fruits, meat, you name it, I probably love to eat it. The problem is I just haven't figured out moderation. Over the years I have tried different diets like Atkins, gone to placed where you eat "supplements", taken pills, both prescription and OTC, and in general, pretty much every "quick fix" out there. However, I am still overweight. Why? Because the quick fixes DON'T work, that is why they are quick fixes. So, I am now trying Weight Watchers. For anyone that doesn't know, they don't exclude any food, which is usually one of my downfalls. Instead of saying, you can't eat that food, you can eat whatever food you want. However every food has a point value and you have to have enough points to "afford" the food you want. So the first 2 days, as I started this Tuesday, have gone well. In fact I have not eaten enough. So, I was thinking this morning, why not blog about it. I am sure there are others out there who are in the same boat, if there wasn't, there wouldn't be sooo many different diets. So the Wicked Witches words are..... I'm melting, I'm melting (or at least I hope I am).
